Role and Responsibilities:
The candidate will assist the Government in analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature; and provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements to include Korean language enabled skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Produce intelligence products associated with North Korea, military, political leadership, national military strategy, strategic doctrine, regional relations, security issues.
Assist intelligence assessments pertaining to a specific country and/or region based on their political and/or military capabilities.
Maintain and manipulate intelligence information sharing databases, data formats/products, and shared directories.
Conduct all-source analysis, with the primary focus on air, naval, ground, Political and Economic (P&E), missile, Special Operations Forces (SOF), and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).
Track and coordinate intelligence production requirements; preparing studies, publications, and briefings.
Attend and serve as SME for intel related conferences, meetings, exercises and working groups.
Assist in identifying potential high interest intelligence.
Prepare Intelligence Information Reports (UR).
Develop and project data used to draw conclusions and estimates probabilities based on historical and current collection data.
Translate, conduct a quality review and update as necessary all documents and products from Korean to English and English to Korea; as requested by the Government.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Candidate will have command of the English language with the ability to provide clear oral and written communication.
A minimum Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) test score 3/3 or equivalent in Korea and English.
The candidate will have at least 3 years of translation experience and an excellent command of the English and Korean language with the ability to provide clear and concise oral and written communication.
Understands essentials of all speech, even technical; grasps opinion and inference; reads a variety of prose on unfamiliar subjects that may include opinions and hypothesis; participates effectively in most formal and informal discourse on practical, social, and professional topics within a shared context.
Bachelor or master’s degrees with 4-6 years of experience, or, specialized training & 4-8 years-experience, or, equivalent academic experience.
Candidates may be required to provide support to include 24 hours-per-day, 7 days-per-week.

Incumbent must be eligible for TS/SCI/CI Poly clearance.
