Role and Responsibilities:
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for data collection, tracking, reporting of various logistical Information to include processing and tracking of, purchase orders/requisitions, Government Furnished Property, Device Availability, Obsolescence, and risk management and resolution collaboration. The Logistics Technician also acts as a purchasing agent for the Program located at Kirtland AFB, NM.

Process and maintain status of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, for the procurement and repair of all investment /expendable items required to support the program.
Coordinate with Corporate (Tampa) purchasing, and applicable program locations for purchasing status and issues.
Coordinate repair and warranty repair disposition for program site locations.
Obsolescence identification and status tracking.
Tracking and reporting of Trend Analysis for ATD devices, to include availability and maintainability.
Tracking and status of items that are “AWP” (Awaiting Part), and “AVR” (Awaiting Vendor Repair).
Tracking and reporting of MTBF (Mean Time between Failure) for ATS Training Devices and GFP.
TSCWG participation to include funding tracking and purchasing for ECP/CCP’s.
Collection and validation of data to support Field Service and Device Utilization data collection and reporting.
Serve as Administrator for Maintenance Connect the automated Inventory Control System/Maintenance Data Collection System.
Utilize Mx Connect to assist with supply support tasks of inventory levels, off-site repair, procurement transactions, and calibration requirement tracking. Logistics Support analysis for spares package. Analysis of critical spares management/adequate quantities for all program site locations and devices.
Interface as required with Site Technicians, Site Managers, TSSC Manager, FTU Manager, Government representatives and other supply personnel in support of the program.
Processes GFP (Government Furnished Property) for disposition using PCARSS (Plant Clearance Automated Reutilization Screening System) cases and resolution.
Maintain contact with commercial and or government customers/vendors to discuss specifications and or contract requirements.
Interface with Engineers and Maintenance Personnel to maintain specifications and configuration of ATS GFP.
Compiles reports on use of stock, handling equipment, adjustments to inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, GFP movements from site to site.
Maintain IUID database for government property that requires IUID tracking.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics management (or related field) OR a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in the field of logistics/procurement
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in simulation systems logistics support or in a manufacturing environment
Previous military and/or commercial logistics technical experience and/or training.
Previous experience with simulator systems design and development, configuration management, reliability/maintainability concepts, technical writing and familiar with standard operating procedures related to logistics.
Applicant must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain/maintain a US Government security clearance
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Demonstrated ability and willingness to work all shifts and overtime as required
Demonstrated understanding of military customs and protocols
