Role and Responsibilities
Provide formal aircrew academic and simulator training to officer and enlisted including initial qualification, re-qualification, instructor upgrade, and key staff students to conduct combat search and rescue missions utilizing NVG low level flight, helicopter aerial refueling operations, alternate insertion and extraction methods, emergency procedures training, system instruction, instrument flight, and tactical operations

Provide initial qualification, requalification, upgrade, and continuation training to qualified officer and enlisted UH-1N aircrew members.
Assist in the development of and ensuring Instructional System Design (ISD) process is correctly applied to all UH-1N courseware.
Ability and willingness to work 40 hours per week; some overtime may be required
Solid interpersonal communication skills
Perform other duties as directed by the management team.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the required Government Security clearance for this position (Top Secret)
Minimum of an Associate’s degree from a regionally-accredited college
Current as a Pilot in the UH-1N within the previous two years; or within the previous 8 years, if the candidate has performed 8 years of military operational flying duty at the time of hire with at least two years or 200 hours experience as an in-flight instructor in the UH-1N
Graduate of Academic Instructor course (AIC) or prior experience instructing students on a US military aircraft
Prior experience with the unit located at JBA and knowledge of their mission sets
Graduate of US Air Force Advanced Instrument School (AIS)
Qualified to instruct the Instrument Refresher Course (IRS)
Qualified to instruct the Crew Resource Management (CRM) Course
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
